Job Summary

Manage and deliver project and programme controls for infrastructure clients, focusing on actual budget and forecast cost tracking to reflect business and project status. Support PMO best practices within an Integrated Programme Controls team, using cost data formats, earned value monitoring, variance analysis, and cost/schedule baseline budgets. Prepare revised forecasts and project reporting, run performance measurement and cost trending, and participate in cost review meetings and procedure development.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver project and programme controls for clients by managing actual budget and forecast costs to capture business and project status.
•Conduct cost forecasting and analysis, including progress trend analysis, cost impact review, and variance analysis.
•Perform earned value monitoring and performance measurement with associated cost trending.
•Create and support cost/schedule baseline budgets, including cost/schedule integration and critical path analysis concepts.
•Prepare and support project reporting and participate in cost review meetings, including tracking action items and procedure development.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from a recognised accredited university or a project controls/management qualification (APMG Planning and Controls, Prince2, RICS, APM, MICE, CIOB).
•Proven experience and working knowledge in a multi-discipline environment in cost control or planning & scheduling.
•Experience implementing Earned Value Management (EVM) based project control systems to relevant national standards.
•Practical ability to apply critical project management concepts such as EVM, project planning, risk analysis, and configuration management.
•Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other planning software, and PowerBI.
