Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out daily and routine preventative electrical maintenance work according to schedules and procedures.
  • •Monitor equipment condition, report non-conformances, and implement corrective actions during electrical failures.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair/test circuit or wiring faults, including locating cable faults and validating connection/cable capacity.
  • •Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctions in equipment (e.g., transformers, motors, relays, switches, control/monitoring devices) and take corrective measures with engineers/supervisors.
  • •Update maintenance logbooks and records, check spare parts stock levels, and support continuous improvement and compliance with HSE/security/environment procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical certificate/Associate’s Diploma in electrical maintenance.
  • •3–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance as a technician in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in a plant environment.
  • •Practical knowledge of relevant plant equipment.
  • •Awareness of HSE and quality standards.
  • •Teamwork and effective collaboration skills; ISO awareness/working knowledge is preferred.
