Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and continuously update UK/IE policy documentation aligned with TikTok’s global Trust & Safety standards.
  • •Design and implement enforcement strategies across content areas including hateful behavior, violent behavior, dangerous actors, mental health, integrity & authenticity, and human exploitation.
  • •Act as the primary policy contact for the UK/IE region and lead responses to content safety issues and escalations.
  • •Build cross-functional partnerships with regional senior stakeholders and teams across Product, Operations, Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations.
  • •Monitor emerging social media trends, user behaviors, and regulatory developments in UK/IE markets to proactively inform policy design.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in policy development, enforcement, or public policy in technology, social media, or content moderation environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of the UK/IE region with experience in Trust & Safety Policy teams.
  • •Fluency in English to engage effectively with local stakeholders and global teams.
  • •Experience with qualitative/quantitative insights to inform policy decisions and measure impact.
  • •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex policy concepts clearly and persuasively.
