Job Summary

Lead end-to-end ECMS/DCS project engineering for electrical distribution and data-center projects. Design network architectures, control logic, protection schemes, and integration of LV/MV/HV systems with interfaces like Modbus, OPC, IEC 61850 and DNP3. Drive hardware/software engineering, simulation, testing, and commissioning to ensure grid stability and efficient energy management.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead project engineering for ECMS and data-center projects from requirements gathering to commissioning.
•Develop network architectures, control logic, protection schemes, and procurement specifications for ECMS and Hybrid EMS.
•Engineer software logic for load shedding, grid tie-ins, synchronization, islanding and black-start functions; integrate LV/MV/HV distribution systems with switchgear, GIS and switchyards.
•Configure and interface third-party protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 61850, DNP3) and lead hardware/software integration and documentation.
•Coordinate with system integrators and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and generate MORs and utilization reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or power engineering.
•8–16 years of experience in the electrical industry or with a DCS/PLC OEM or vendor, preferably in captive power plants or refineries, with knowledge of DCS/PLC programming, engineering, and commissioning.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
•Willingness to travel to project sites across India and internationally, as required.
