Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in bank sales processes to meet sales and service goals, including profiling, building customer relationships, using sales/customer service software, and participating in sales campaigns.
  • •Accurately open, close, and maintain customer accounts in line with established policies and procedures, including understanding Personal Banker training material.
  • •Advise customers using knowledge of Old Second products and services, including learning and applying retail banking products such as IRAs and loans.
  • •Cross-train as a Teller to handle basic transactions as needed (cash/check handling, deposits/withdrawals) and support balancing the drawer.
  • •Maintain operational accuracy and compliance across required areas (e.g., BSA/Fraud/CTR processes, CIP, Beneficial Ownership, and related operational records) and complete annual training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.1 - 22.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of related experience (banking, cash handling, customer service and/or sales, office, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming the role and meet Bank training requirements.
  • •Must work onsite to perform responsibilities at the Palos Heights and other specified OSB locations.
  • •Must maintain knowledge of banking rules and regulations and complete annual training.
  • •Branch coverage requires flexibility to open/close branches as needed.
