Key Responsibilities

  • •Support European expansion by partnering with growth and corporate development teams to build relationships with industry leaders across the UK and Continental Europe.
  • •Shape pre-contract strategy by driving scope definition, proposal development, and term sheet generation during international captures.
  • •Serve as the supply chain voice in go/no-go decisions by bringing market intelligence and risk assessment to leadership discussions.
  • •Develop and qualify a regional multi-tier supply base across commodity categories; lead supplier engagement, selection, qualification, onboarding, and risk mitigation.
  • •Act as primary liaison across engineering, operations, and program teams with UK/European manufacturing partners while ensuring compliance with European regulations and managing supplier performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • •8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement focused on contract manufacturing, preferably in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology.
  • •Proven success negotiating and managing complex manufacturing agreements with European suppliers, with deep understanding of European business culture and negotiation practices.
  • •Regulatory expertise in the European compliance landscape, including export controls, dual-use technology regulations, and transfer-of-defense-equipment principles.
  • •Strong analytical and financial acumen, including total cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and make-vs-buy assessments, plus proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools.
