Own inventory and cost accounting across global entities, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, timely journal entries, and variance analysis through monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes. Reconcile general ledger accounts, support external reporting and audits, and partner with operations to ensure inventory costs are recorded correctly. Lead process improvement efforts by optimizing workflows, supporting automation and system changes in SAP, and maintaining SOX-compliant documentation.
