Job Summary

Maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and machinery assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special-purpose machines using hand and power tools, including welding and cutting torch work. Troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, replace faulty parts and electrical components, and test/install equipment to ensure proper functioning while keeping the work area clean.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic
•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and replace parts as assigned
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine and execute needed repairs
•Replace faulty parts and electrical components (wires, motors, controls, circuit boards), then install and test to ensure proper operation
