Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and execute the long-term Health strategy aligned with corporate strategy.
  • •Drive profitable growth by identifying market opportunities, healthcare trends, and evolving customer needs.
  • •Own the end-to-end financial performance of the Health business, including revenue growth, expense management, profitability, and combined ratio.
  • •Govern health portfolio performance across Group Medical, Group Life, Shield, and IPMI, including pricing strategy and product mix.
  • •Represent HSBC Life externally with regulators and partners, and build strategies to manage medical inflation through partnerships, preventative initiatives, and analytics-driven interventions.

Key Requirements

  • •Subject matter expertise in Singapore’s public and private healthcare industry.
  • •Proven track record of growth, profitability, and end-to-end P&L management in the Health space.
  • •Deep understanding of retail and corporate Health solutions in Singapore.
  • •Established relationships across the healthcare ecosystem, including intermediaries, providers, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
  • •Ability to influence effectively at executive level and build/develop senior teams with succession planning.
