Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide survey and quality control support for progressive reclamation work on site.
  • •Conduct survey activities such as quantity surveys, layout, and field supervision for large-scale earthworks.
  • •Perform quality control activities including materials testing, crush production stockpiling QC, and earthworks construction QC.
  • •Interface and coordinate with Construction, Engineering, and Operations to track and control daily activities against design details and specifications.
  • •Participate in site safety and quality control/survey processes and coordinate equipment tracking and reconciliation using PITRAM.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered in an accredited engineering COOP program.
  • •At least 2 years completed in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological, Environmental, or Mining Engineering.

  • •Highly self-motivated with outstanding organizational and participative skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license; GPS survey and material testing experience are assets; Civil 3D/AutoCAD experience is an asset; must have the right to work in Canada and return to school after the work term.
