Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project delivery across a Service Delivery Area, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of Billable Works and non-programmed projects.
  • •Establish and lead a team of Project Managers, building structure, processes, and culture while mentoring and coaching people.
  • •Manage Billable Works projects valued at £25k+ from requirements through procurement and construction to handover.
  • •Set and embed a Safety First culture and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and MOD standards (including CDM and asbestos regulations).
  • •Manage the SDA budget and P&L, monitor supply chain performance, control risks, and provide regular programme performance reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Experienced project or construction professional delivering multiple projects in a complex operational environment.
  • •Ability to lead Project Managers, manage competing priorities, and take ownership for area performance.
  • •A recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or APM) and an HNC or equivalent in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • •IOSH or equivalent qualification, plus a full UK driving licence.
  • •Commercially aware with experience managing budgets/P&L, supply chain performance, risks, and programme milestones.
