Job Summary

Lead federal engineering and design projects for U.S. Department of Defense clients, overseeing multiple large and mid-sized, multi-discipline efforts concurrently. You will guide teams in developing project design packages (scope, schedules, milestones, resourcing), coordinate daily activities with internal and external stakeholders, monitor KPIs and risks, support budget tracking, and maintain project documentation through closeout. Strong power/electrical design discipline knowledge is required.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead teams in developing project design packages, including scope, schedules, milestones, and resourcing.
•Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to meet objectives and timelines.
•Monitor project progress using KPIs, identifying risks or delays and reporting to senior team members.
•Support project budget management by tracking expenses and reviewing cost estimates to align with approved budgets.
•Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout reports.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management support role within architecture, engineering, or construction.
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
•5+ years managing Federal design projects for MDA, USACE, and NAVFAC clients.
•US citizenship required due to client requirements.
•PE or PMP required; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
