Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet with customer R&D teams to understand their module qualification process and help them qualify products with NEXTPOWER components
  • •Communicate program status and customer requirements to the U.S. development team and other NEXTPOWER teams outside China as part of a global team
  • •Work to understand and solve technical issues that stand in the way of product qualification
  • •Manage program schedules to ensure product qualifications are achieved according to plan
  • •Manage work at third party laboratories including writing work scopes, providing test materials, and reviewing reports

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar discipline
  • •5+ years of technical experience with PV modules
  • •Knowledge of module testing and IEC compliance, testing PV modules and other solar equipment
  • •Experience managing programs with teams across different countries; willingness to travel globally
  • •Experience resolving field issues, performing root cause analysis, and designing mitigations
