Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
  • •Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using independent judgment.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain complete, timely electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
  • •Order parts and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance and assist in training lower-level technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, plus extensive construction equipment knowledge including schematics and diagrams.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
  • •Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet stated physical requirements.
