Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products to meet technical specification requirements for performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to verify firmware subsystem quality, functional, and performance requirements at key integration stages.
  • •Provide consistent, detailed, and accurate summaries of firmware development activities to management and cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •4+ years of embedded firmware development and debugging, including analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification.
  • •Excellent communication skills and ability to independently work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • •2+ years of recent experience in the storage industry, storage systems, or related technology.
  • •Programming expertise in languages such as C and Rust (Python experience is an advantage); familiarity with storage interfaces (e.g., PCIe/NVMe) and NAND flash is a plus.
