Job Summary

Own core FP&A processes for the Cengage Work and ELT teams, including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning. Partner with product and business leaders to analyze product performance, profitability, and adoption trends, translating financial and operational data into actionable insights. Perform variance analysis, build scenarios and business cases, and improve/automate reporting with modern BI tools, data models, and AI-assisted workflows.

•Own FP&A processes including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning with accuracy and continuous improvement.

•Perform detailed variance analysis to identify root causes and communicate key performance drivers.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting/Finance or quantitative subject areas.
•2+ years of related experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
•Strong analytical foundation to move from data to insight to recommendation.
•Advanced Excel skills, including comfort handling large datasets and building models.
•Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.).
