This role serves as the technical bridge between customers, the sales team, and engineering, applying injection molding expertise to analyze requests, provide design-for-manufacturing feedback, and shape custom solutions. You will handle RFQs, engage with customers, review 3D/2D models, optimize files for manufacturability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to package requests for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and Prepare RFQs: Retrieve and organize quote request information from various channels, including RFQ documents, 3D CAD files, and 2D drawings.
•Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to clarify requirements and address any discrepancies in documentation.
•Technical Review and Quoting: Conduct thorough reviews of 3D models and 2D drawings to provide design-for-manufacturing (DFM) feedback and support the creation of accurate quotes using internal systems.
•File Optimization: Perform basic file modifications and repairs using software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Magics to ensure manufacturability.
•Database Management: Maintain and update quote databases in real-time to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree or higher in a technology field, or equivalent practical experience.
•Strong interest and aptitude in technical tools, including experience with or a willingness to learn 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Magics) and 2D drawing review.
•Demonstrated technical aptitude to quickly grasp general technical aspects of various manufacturing technologies.
•Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills, capable of interacting politely and enthusiastically with both customers and coworkers.
•Vocational training or direct experience in injection molding is highly desired.
