Backend Engineer - Ecommerce Recommendation Infrastructure (ByteDance Singapore)

Build and maintain high-performance backend services powering the TikTok e-commerce recommendation ecosystem. You’ll design global large-scale recommendation infrastructure, develop reliable data pipelines for candidate/profile generation and real-time training, and create high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems. Partner with applied machine learning engineers to support innovative algorithms, and work on software testing/validation while integrating hardware and software performance requirements.
