Key Responsibilities

  • •Review construction plans and specifications to perform material take-offs and select appropriate materials based on project requirements.
  • •Manage job files and coordinate the submittal process, handle order entries with factories, expedite orders, and process freight claims with proper documentation.
  • •Act as a liaison between customers and Outside Sales Engineers, fostering relationships with both.
  • •Engage regularly with Outside Sales Engineers, factory representatives, and customer personnel to meet project deadlines and customer needs.
  • •Set up and manage job files and documentation, and address factory invoices, billing issues, and credit applications as needed.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Education: Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering), Building Construction degree, or comparable industry experience.
  • •Experience: proven inside sales or project coordination experience with at least 3 years working with commercial HVAC products.
  • •Skills: Organizational skills to manage 50-100 concurrent projects at varying stages; technical aptitude with product knowledge for pre-sale and post-sale support; computer proficiency in Windows and software for selection, pricing, quoting, ordering, and communication with factories and customers; strong problem-solving
  • •Time Management: ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • •Customer Service Orientation: proactive, can-do attitude focused on client satisfaction.
