Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair/rebuild, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment including pumping systems, pneumatic controls, valves, agitators/seals, and motor bearings.
  • •Maintain and operate plant utility equipment such as air handling units (HVAC), hot water pumps, motors, electrical panels, environmental sensors, coolers, boilers, air compressors, and substations.
  • •Ensure lockout-tagout procedures are followed.
  • •Locate equipment problems, discuss potential causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • •Diagnose issues and repair equipment including blowers, pumps, airlocks, gearboxes, conveyors, and perform valve installation, pipe welding, threading, and installation.

Key Requirements

  • •A vocational or Associate’s degree in an electrical/maintenance field, or a High School Diploma with 7 years of on-the-job electrical and/or maintenance experience.
  • •Ability to work Monday–Friday 8AM–4PM training/orientation hours for 4 weeks.
  • •Previous diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience in a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical/food environment (preferred).
