Job Summary

Lead Anyscale’s Infrastructure, SRE, and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams to make developing and running distributed AI applications on Ray seamless in the cloud. Own the vision and technical direction, recruit and enable a high-performing engineering team, and drive strategy and execution across cluster launcher, cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes support, autoscaling, reliability, and billing and database components. Partner with customers and field engineering to solve distributed systems challenges.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide the vision and technical direction of the Infrastructure, SRE, and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams.
•Recruit, enable, and lead a high-performing engineering team delivering value to developers and customers.
•Oversee strategy and execution for cluster launcher, cloud provider support (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Kubernetes support.
•Drive reliability and related platform components including control plane, data plane, cluster autoscaling, billing stack, and production database.
•Partner with customers and field engineering to understand their problems and ensure successful outcomes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 314,000 - 372,000 annually

•Demonstrated record of helping teams scale quickly while maintaining a good culture.
•Ability to ensure a high hiring bar, motivate the team, coach/mentor, and handle performance management issues.

•A great track record of execution with strong urgency, prioritization, and communication skills.
