Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and coordinate the daily work activities of tagging specialists to ensure work orders and tagging procedures are followed.
  • •Develop critical path schedules for online and outage operations, including preparation and analytics of daily work schedules to optimize equipment availability and manpower usage.
  • •Oversee nuclear plant on-line and outage work control to ensure compliance with station technical specifications, licensing basis documents, and fire protection requirements.
  • •Develop dose estimates for scheduled work in the on-line and outage schedule, identify ALARA improvement opportunities, and provide input to Operations management.
  • •Monitor department performance within the Work Control Process, analyze proposed schedules for risk management program compliance, and implement corrective actions based on KPI performance.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently hold or have previously held an RO or SRO License.
  • •5+ years of experience as a Licensed Nuclear Operator or in a role requiring a Senior Reactor Operator license (e.g., Control Room Supervisor, Operations Shift Engineer).
  • •Familiarity with the Nuclear Industry Work Control process.
  • •Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels and communicate clearly orally and in writing.
  • •Must be able to complete in-processing requirements including a background investigation, psychological screening, radiation worker/respiratory training, and medical drug and alcohol screening.
