Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and troubleshoot AA network infrastructure for airports, cargo, sales offices, and other locations.
  • •Write network configuration scripts with change documentation and implement network changes during appropriate change windows (after hours).
  • •Review and provide feedback on change documentation/engineering from other engineers.
  • •Establish processes to test applications and devices prior to planned network deployment to measure performance and optimization recommendations.
  • •Serve as second-tier support, participate in on-call escalation rotation, and lead small/medium internal data network projects.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •6+ years of enterprise data network/IT experience, including at least 4 years with enterprise-scale data network technologies.
  • •Expert knowledge implementing and troubleshooting Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
  • •Strong enterprise networking knowledge including Cisco, Aruba, and Meraki switching/routing and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, QoS, VPN, NAT, and MPLS.
  • •Experience with SD-WAN technologies such as VeloCloud, Cisco Viptela, and Versa and basic troubleshooting capabilities.
