Key Responsibilities

  • •Start at the customer delivery hub, then drive routes with a two-person delivery crew.
  • •Load the lorry with the day’s deliveries in partnership with the warehouse team.
  • •Deliver large items and install products into customers’ homes efficiently and safely.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and represent the John Lewis brand, handling unexpected home situations appropriately.
  • •Maintain a safe working environment and keep up to date on new products and technologies.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 29,500 - 41,100 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Previous installation experience is required (installer accreditation will be provided).
  • •Manual C1 UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
  • •DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) or Driver Qualification Card by the first day in the role.
  • •Tachograph Card.
  • •Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle and in a customer-facing role, with great verbal communication skills.
