Sample aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and concrete masonry products to ensure they meet industry specifications and project testing parameters. Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with internal teams and external contractors/inspectors, evaluate test results, submit required documentation, and follow OSHA, PPE, and safe-work requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Sample aggregates, ready-mix concrete, and concrete masonry products to ensure required specifications are met.
•Learn to batch ready-mix concrete and perform production support and labor duties at various facilities.
•Operate and maintain relevant equipment, including forklifts and loaders.
•Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, crews, and external customers/contractors/inspectors for mix design criteria and samples.
•Prepare and submit quality control documentation, evaluate test results, and address problems as they arise while following OSHA and PPE requirements.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in the concrete industry is preferred.
•High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
•Obtain industry certifications as required for the position.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a ¾ ton pickup truck with a 20’ trailer.
•Knowledge and daily use of Microsoft Office applications is required.
