Job Summary

Lead end-to-end vendor and procurement contracting for Cyera’s global legal team. Own high-volume drafting and negotiation across SaaS, cloud services, licensing, services, marketing, consulting, and outsourcing—balancing legal risk with business needs across security, privacy, AI, and regulatory compliance. Build scalable procurement contract frameworks, templates, approval workflows, and governance, using metrics and AI tools to reduce cycle times. Partner with Finance, Procurement, Security, and IT; coordinate outside counsel for complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive strategic procurement transformation by designing and continuously improving end-to-end procurement and vendor lifecycle processes.
•Draft, negotiate, and advise on global vendor and procurement agreements across SaaS, cloud, software licensing, services, marketing, consulting, and outsourcing.
•Use data-driven metrics to identify bottlenecks, optimize contract cycle times, and run continuous improvement initiatives.
•Build for scale by developing playbooks, templates, approval workflows, and governance to support global growth with consistent risk controls.
•Partner with Finance, Procurement, Security, IT, and other stakeholders to streamline vendor onboarding and align contracting with business priorities; triage outside counsel when needed.

Key Requirements

•J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
•5-7+ years of experience in procurement counseling, vendor management programs, and strategic sourcing within high-growth tech environments.
•Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
•Hands-on experience with global data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act, structuring and negotiating DPAs, security addenda, and AI governance terms.
•Deep expertise in process mapping, workflow automation, and complex system integrations, specifically CLM, ERP, and spend management platforms.
