Job Summary

Conduct post-transaction mortgage servicing quality control reviews by completing full loan file examinations and validating documentation against bank, investor, and regulatory requirements. Prepare clear loan-level test reports, identify and trend issues, and escalate findings to the QC Manager/Director. Investigate and refer suspicious activity to Bank Protection, and collaborate across lines of defense including Legal, Compliance, Enterprise Risk, and Audit.

Key Responsibilities

•Support mortgage servicing quality control through post-transaction servicing reviews.
•Perform full loan file reviews to confirm transactions meet bank and investor credit policy requirements.
•Review data elements and documentation for approval and servicing, including bank and agency product guides and lagged origination/servicing guidelines.
•Complete targeted elevated-skill reviews and document moderate/significant findings in loan-level reports.
•Track and escalate trending concerns and complete investigation referrals to Bank Protection when suspicious activity is discovered.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in banking, lending, or quality control; desired areas include Business, IT, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
•Minimum 1–2 years advanced relevant mortgage servicing transaction experience (preferred), applying concepts in a quality control function.
•Knowledge of bank, investor, and Government Program guidelines, plus policy, legal, and regulatory requirements.
•Knowledge of common banking documentation and terminology.
•Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple tasks, and communicate verbally and in writing with discretion/confidentiality.
