Job Summary

Advise and support MongoDB’s largest enterprise named accounts as part of Premium Services within Technical Services. Build relationships with customers, guide their use of MongoDB products, and coordinate resolution of complex issues across architecture, performance, recovery, and security. Serve as an expert on best practices for running MongoDB at scale, partner with product management and development teams on customer needs, and deliver outstanding customer service.

•Advise named accounts and solve their complex MongoDB problems as part of Premium Services within Technical Services.
•Coordinate resolution of customer issues across architecture, performance, recovery, and security.
•Act as an expert resource for best practices running MongoDB at scale.
•Build and maintain relationships with enterprise customers by guiding their use of MongoDB products and services.
•Interface with product management and development teams to advocate for customer needs.

Key Requirements

•7+ years deploying and managing operational production databases at scale, on-prem and in the cloud.
•Experience building and maintaining mission-critical production database systems, including monitoring/alerting, backup/recovery, security, and data modeling/schema design.
•Strong performance tuning and solutions architecture experience for production database environments.
•Hands-on systems engineering skills across Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting.
•Ability to read code and have basic scripting ability in one or more languages (Java, Python, Ruby, C/C++, C#, JavaScript, node.js, Go).
