Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a trusted advisor to the Department Manager with regular weekly touchpoints and monthly reporting.
  • •Perform or assist in managing financial and technical aspects of Substation team performance, including timecard approvals, resource planning, and support for annual business plans.
  • •Support appraisals and salary/promotion/bonus recommendations and participate in regional and business unit initiatives.
  • •Support proposal development, construction cost estimates, project scheduling, and project budgeting.
  • •Perform and direct detailed design of medium to extra-high-voltage substations, including diagrams, wiring, SCADA communications designs, specifications, facility studies, and QA/QC activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •7–10 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for substation projects.
  • •Demonstrable leadership experience with substation project/client teams, including client relationship development and maintenance.
  • •Strong self-leadership with attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Proven ability to uphold workplace safety policies and effective English communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
