Job Summary

Maintain Gulf Air and approved third-party aircraft in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule, performing routine and non-routine maintenance across A&C and Avionics as applicable. Ensure on-time departures after scheduled and unscheduled checks, and support urgent schedule changes by accompanying aircraft. Travel as required for AOG recovery and as a flying spanner for pre-departure checks. Keep bonded stores and station technical publications/impress up to date, and provide accurate station debriefs to the Maintenance Control Centre.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform routine and non-routine maintenance of Gulf Air aircraft and approved third-party aircraft, including A&C and Avionics as applicable.
•Ensure on-time departures by completing relevant scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
•Accompany aircraft at short notice for schedule changes and travel as required for AOG recovery and pre-departure checks.
•Maintain bonded store, office environments, and station Manuals/Technical Publications and “impress” in line with company requirements.
•Provide accurate, timely station debriefs to the Maintenance Control Centre on departures, delays, defect rectification, ADDs/MDDs, and ETS during prolonged delays; deputize for the Station Engineer when needed.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum five years’ experience on aircraft maintenance, including at least 3 years as a certifying engineer.
•Holder of an Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department.
•Minimum one or two Aircraft Type on the license.
•Ability to carry out routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance within the scope of approval (including A&C and Avionics).
•Ability to perform duties for schedule changes at short notice by accompanying aircraft and completing relevant checks.

Experience:5+ years

Education:Certification / Diploma

Licenses:Aircraft Engineer License
