Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate system-level propulsion requirements into robust full-cycle PCB designs, including schematic capture, high-density layout, component selection, bring-up, test, debug, and propulsion-system integration.
  • •Design and optimize flight controller circuits, power distribution/supplies, motor controller circuits, and electromagnetic actuator circuits.
  • •Conduct rigorous analysis including circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, DFMEA, and component derating for reliability in extreme vibration and temperature environments.
  • •Lead board bring-ups and Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification testing, and functional testing.
  • •Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, software, test, quality, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams; perform peer-level/cross-discipline design reviews and root-cause/failure analysis support for engine tests and field operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 10+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
  • •Solid fundamentals across Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics.
  • •Proficiency with electronic design tools, specifically Altium Designer (or equivalent) and LTSpice (or equivalent).
  • •Competence with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, electronic loads, and power supplies.
