Job Summary

Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures within Intel’s Logic Technology Development. You will design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specs, contribute to IP development, and integrate steps for manufacturing of complex microprocessors. Collaborate across cross-functional teams, ramp technologies to manufacturing volumes, and transfer knowledge to production using Copy Exactly methodologies, shaping the future of semiconductor processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures and realization of these architectures.
•Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet engineering specifications for the process.
•Participate in development of intellectual property and integrate steps for manufacturing of complex microprocessors.
•Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate technology meets requirements and transfer to manufacturing via Copy Exactly Methodology.
•Communicate effectively and work with cross-functional teams to drive results.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,520 - 219,550 annually

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field; plus 7+ years of semiconductor industry experience
•Advanced node semiconductor processing, semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology; experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Computational Data Skills
•7+ years of professional overlay development experience; understanding of process-induced overlay impacts
•Experience with integrated process development to co-optimize process and overlay mark design; troubleshooting overlay mark performance
•Overlay equipment development and vendor interaction experience is a plus; experience with ASML scanner EUV/DUV platforms is a plus
