Job Summary

Own the end-to-end Design Validation Test (DVT) process for complex electrical boards and full systems, defining validation strategy, building test plans and infrastructure, and leading hands-on debug and root-cause analysis. Drive power integrity/stability and high-speed I/O validation, execute system-level integration validation across lab and chamber environments, and close issues through design changes and re-test. Partner across EE/ME/FW/diagnostics/reliability/manufacturing to improve DVT coverage and reduce escapes.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and own a risk-based DVT strategy and deliver DVT plans, procedures, and reports with clear pass/fail criteria and coverage rationale.
•Own board/subassembly DVT from first power-on through design sign-off, including power validation, clock distribution, and high-speed I/O interface validation.
•Execute system-level DVT across representative configurations and operating envelopes, validating and debugging electrical, mechanical, thermal, and optics interactions.
•Build repeatable benchtop and rack-level validation setups; lead RCA for validation failures and drive corrective actions through re-test and data review.
•Partner to improve DVT infrastructure, automation, and throughput via scripting/logging and standardized test stages; define data capture and reporting standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 275,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
•8–15+ years of hardware validation/DVT experience on complex board and system-level products.
•Demonstrated ownership of board bring-up and DVT execution: test plan creation, instrumentation, debug, and closure.
•Strong background in power delivery validation and measurement, including sequencing, margining, droop, ripple/noise, and IR drop.
•Strong background in high-speed I/O validation and debug (PCIe/Ethernet-class links) with proficiency in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
