Job Summary

Install, upgrade, test, and calibrate Operational Technology instrumentation and control devices while troubleshooting field communications and equipment failures. Ensure accurate interfaces between RTUs/PLCs/EFMs and the SCADA system, maintain radio/satellite/cellular communications, and support OT infrastructure reliability (power, UPS, generator, HVAC). Provide technical liaison support to SCADA and Operations, handle TCP/IP network communications, and respond to after-hours emergency calls including physical and cyber security tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, upgrade, test, and calibrate OT instrumentation and control devices, and monitor/diagnose/troubleshoot field communications and equipment failures.
•Assure accurate interfaces between RTUs/PLCs/EFMs and the SCADA system; maintain radio, satellite, and cellular communications equipment, including tower work when needed.
•Support OT power and supporting infrastructure reliability (UPS, generator, HVAC), performing site inspections and DC power load surveys to reduce downtime.
•Provide second-tier technical support and act as a technical liaison between SCADA and Operations personnel for hardware and software needs.
•Support TCP/IP network communications and respond to after-hours emergency calls for SCADA/control system, power, and communications/equipment failures, including physical and cyber security tasks.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics, computer science, or a related field; or a high school diploma/GED plus three years of related operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience in gas operations equipment.
•Communicate with internal/external customers to explain and provide technical information.
•Perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods.
•Use computer software packages at a very high level and be familiar with hardware configuration.
•Maintain minimum Operator Qualifications (OQs) and classroom training; have a valid driver’s license; complete safety-sensitive pre/post-employment screenings including DOT/PHMSA drug testing and MVR background checks.
