Job Summary

Perform hands-on duties on construction and/or paving projects as part of a pipe crew, moving between tasks as job demands require. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and OSHA/OSHA-related procedures, using proper tools and PPE. Assist the crew with shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow work, truck backing/dumping into a paver, signaling equipment operators, and placing construction materials and traffic control devices.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety policies, procedures, and required tool/equipment use.
•Properly follow company policies and OSHA regulations; report issues to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
•Assist construction/paving crew with tasks such as shoveling and raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
•Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials handling.
•Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and assist with materials placement/leveling and traffic control setup as needed.
