Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of vocational skills programs at the vocational education level to meet business demand.
  • •Establish and manage an enterprise approach for apprentices and trainees.
  • •Work with functions and lines of business, and the vocational sector, to establish and continuously improve the apprentice and trainee proposition and vocational up-skilling/re-skilling initiatives.
  • •Design or scale innovative vocational education skilling initiatives in partnership with relevant functions and Lines of Business.
  • •Set benchmarks, training, and policies for consistent early careers experiences, and establish program evaluation methodologies, performance dashboards, and competitive benchmarking.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience engaging registered training organisations, vocational students, or early-career trades and paraprofessionals.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of apprentice and trainee learning models, including funding and regulatory requirements.
  • •Strong understanding of apprentice and trainee talent acquisition tactics and current trends.
  • •Experience in large, complex matrix organisations, with confidence presenting proposals and communicating effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • •Ability to lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and continuously improve vocational skilling initiatives.
