Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Engineer to perform base-level cabin appearance testing tasks for repairs and component replacement on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft.
  • •Review assigned task cards to understand work scope, priorities, documentation requirements, and cautions before starting work.
  • •Verify compatibility and readiness of cabin appearance components against approved standards, quantity, and timing.
  • •Prepare and perform scheduled component maintenance and related test/inspection tasks, fully identifying and recording defects or damage per approved procedures.
  • •Manage safety of assigned maintenance tasks and follow precautions, human-factors access/lighting procedures, and report task status to the Engineer-in-Charge.
  • •Ensure tooling/equipment readiness and proper return after completion, and demonstrate high housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years’ experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types.
  • •At least 2 years’ experience in a Line or Base Maintenance environment.
  • •Qualified and experienced workshop maintenance technician.
  • •Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
  • •Ability to use computer tools (Microsoft Office) and obtain a UAE Driver’s License.
