  • •Execute schedule and cost performance for the manufacturing operations cell.
  • •Lead workforce planning, forecasting, employee hiring, training, and time and attendance tracking.
  • •Manage area layout and flow of work to meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • •Identify and control overhead expenses and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • •Lead safety and continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • •Experience working in manufacturing as a supervisor.
  • •U.S. citizen required; must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • •Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / Six Sigma implementation projects.
  • •Experience working in and/or guiding a CNC machine/assembly shop supervising bargaining unit employees in the aerospace/defense industry.
