Job Summary

Join the manufacturing operations team at the BaseCamp facility to perform right-first-time cGMP manufacturing for cell and gene therapy products, including aseptic processing, cell isolation/selection/culturing, upstream and downstream processing, cryopreservation, aseptic fill-finish, and final inspection. Support operations start-up by authoring SOPs and batch records, maintaining cleanroom readiness, training teams on equipment and workflows, and partnering cross-functionally with QA and process sciences to resolve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and lead right-first-time cGMP manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products, including aseptic processing, cell isolation/selection/culturing, cryopreservation, upstream/downstream processing, aseptic fill-finish, and final inspection.
•Conduct manufacturing and operations start-up activities such as authoring SOPs and batch records, writing reports, performing risk assessments, and managing materials ordering.
•Train team members on setup and use of equipment and understanding of process and material flows as assigned.
•Maintain clean rooms in an organized and ready state and provide input on equipment and workflow selection and setup.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer and resolve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls with Quality Assurance and Process Sciences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 38 - 62 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related engineering.
•For Associate I: 0-1+ years of experience in cGMP biotech manufacturing, preferably cell and gene therapies.
•For Associate II: 2+ years of experience in cGMP biotech manufacturing, preferably cell and gene therapies.
•For Associate III/IV: 3-6+ years (III) or 4-6+ years (IV) of experience in cGMP biotech manufacturing, preferably cell and gene therapies.
•Experience with cGMP manufacturing/process development for CAR T, TCR, NK, cellular therapies, AAV, LV, and RV, plus aseptic technique and proficiency with tools/equipment and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word.
