Job Summary

Build and evolve the backend for an eKYC platform that gathers customer information, assesses risk, and drives workflow decisions to accept or reject new clients. You’ll develop and test Java components, contribute across the software development lifecycle, write unit tests, and support releases in an Agile environment. The role includes peer reviews and design documentation as the system migrates from on-prem hosting to Google Cloud and expands to new locations.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain software quality by following good development practices and team habits.
•Develop, test, and document Java-based backend components in line with requirements.
•Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including identifying and resolving technical issues.
•Write unit tests to cover robustness, edge cases, and reliability; participate in peer reviews.
•Create design documentation and plan/support releases while collaborating with QA to ensure high quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•At least 4+ years of experience working with Java and Spring.
•Good understanding of REST and microservices architecture.
•Experience with design patterns and SOLID principles, plus data structures/collections knowledge.
•Experience with relational databases (Oracle); GCP experience and Agile/Scrum or Kanban knowledge are a plus.
