Job Summary

Lead regional Lakebase Sales Specialists to grow the Lakebase business by guiding a high-performing team that collaborates with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and regional Sales Leadership to modernize legacy databases, simplify application architectures, and operationalize AI in production. Drive land-and-expand strategies, scale developer/platform sales motions, and partner with Product/Engineering to align field insights with GTM.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop the Lakebase Sales Specialists team, providing coaching on complex deal strategy, technical qualification, and executive engagement.
•Drive revenue growth by owning, managing, and exceeding regional consumption and booking targets and building a healthy pipeline across modernization and operational workloads.
•Execute the developer and platform sales motion by implementing regional strategies and enabling the core field team to identify and qualify opportunities.
•Establish trusted relationships with regional CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and platform leaders, positioning Databricks as a premier application data platform.
•Provide field feedback to Product and GTM teams, offering insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and messaging to refine positioning.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS, cloud platform, database, or developer platform sales
•3+ years of experience directly managing high-performing enterprise sales or specialist teams
•Demonstrated success in executing specialized GTM motions or scaling new product lines within a larger matrixed organization
•Strong technical baseline and understanding of modern application architectures, including APIs, microservices, real-time systems, and distributed applications
•Proven track record of selling into CIO, CTO, architecture, and platform engineering organizations
