Job Summary

Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise server hardware assets, ensuring accurate CMDB/asset records, compliant decommissioning, and proactive refresh planning for EOL/EOS milestones. Oversee OEM and third-party maintenance contracts, warranty status, SLAs, and cost optimization while mitigating risk from unsupported hardware. Forecast refresh cycles and provide TCO transparency for budgeting, and continuously improve hardware asset processes and ServiceNow integrations for audit-ready reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Governing end-to-end server hardware lifecycle from purchase planning through deployment, maintenance, refresh, and decommission.
•Track EOL and End-of-Support milestones and maintain accurate asset records in CMDB/asset management systems.
•Manage OEM and third-party maintenance contracts, warranty status, SLAs, renewals, and co-terming strategies.
•Reduce risk and ensure critical production servers have appropriate support coverage aligned to business SLAs.
•Forecast refresh cycles and renewals, provide TCO transparency, and partner with procurement/finance to optimize CapEx vs. OpEx and asset utilization.

Key Requirements

•Familiarity with ServiceNow HAM, CMDB, and hardware asset governance practices.
•Strong understanding of enterprise server environments and infrastructure operations.
•Experience with hardware lifecycle management and vendor support models.
•Proven ability in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
•Knowledge of data center operations and infrastructure dependencies.
