  • •Own supplier quality for mechanical equipment (CDUs, chillers, pumps, piping packages) from qualification through delivery.
  • •Run supplier audits and production readiness reviews before award, and conduct source inspections before shipments.
  • •Set inspection and test plans suppliers follow, including factory acceptance test witness points.
  • •Drive root-cause and corrective actions on quality escapes.
  • •Verify corrective actions at the supplier floor, not only on paper.

Salary: USD 137,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Have experience owning supplier quality for mechanical or HVAC equipment manufacturers, on their floors.
  • •Have witnessed factory acceptance tests and have failed one when warranted.
  • •Write inspection plans from drawings and specs rather than templates.
  • •Close corrective actions with evidence, with rare repeat quality escapes.
  • •Bonus experience with liquid cooling equipment, ASME/ISO quality systems, welding and brazing inspection, and PPAP/APQP.
