Job Summary

Own the strategic sourcing and cost management for the Maneuver Dominance product portfolio across its lifecycle. Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to select suppliers, scope concepts, develop should-cost models, build and qualify a manufacturing BOM, and assess BOM and component risks. Drive CAPEX planning and value-stream mapping to improve supply-network lead time and flexibility, while leading cost engineering to converge bottoms-up cost to target product cost.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
•Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, including concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet modeling, joint design via statements of work, and simulation of mechanical and electronics designs.
•Develop and consolidate the manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers; manage CAPEX throughout NPI.
•Run value-stream mapping to optimize supply-network lead time and flexibility, and complete BOM risk assessments with alternate component sourcing and component qualifications ahead of production.
•Lead cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost, and manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering.
•Experience designing and developing electronics and/or mechanical devices.
•Advanced sourcing experience, including stints as a commodity/sourcing manager.
•Supplier development experience (technology, process, supply chain) with early supplier engagement.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
