Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure Food Safety, Quality Assurance, SQF, and Regulatory programs are executed and documented accurately to maintain compliance and product integrity.
  • •Investigate and resolve product/process failures quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.
  • •Manage HACCP, SSOP, and product specifications to prevent failures, and lead continuous improvement efforts with FSQA staff and Operations.
  • •Conduct sanitation inspections and micro sampling; maintain and reassess the SQF Plan and communicate updates for effective implementation.
  • •Manage work assignments and provide training and development for food safety and quality assurance staff to uphold team standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in food safety or quality assurance (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Familiarity with meat processing, USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and SQF.
  • •Experience leading by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process or project.
  • •Ability to uphold regulatory, company, and customer standards, and address inquiries or complaints.
  • •Must complete forms in English and be able to travel up to 20% and work extended hours or weekends as needed.
