Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support to NGA College end-users by maintaining desktop systems and ensuring reliable computer system operations.
  • •Serve as the NGA College liaison for NGA events involving UDS IT equipment, addressing IT questions and coordinating requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and perform advanced software installations and OS and layered software upgrades.
  • •Monitor, tune, and audit systems to achieve optimum performance and ensure compliance with established standards and configurations.
  • •Lead complex data/media recoverability, manage backups and archive operations, develop long-term system strategies, and train end-users.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related IT experience and BA/BS (or equivalent experience).
  • •Knowledge of Thin Client and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.

  • •Experience with SCCM/SMS and desktop image management, home directory/profile support, and email support services.
  • •Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with ability to train end-users and document work.
