Job Summary

Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the electrical and automation systems in a production facility. You’ll interpret electrical schematics and manuals, diagnose automation software issues, and troubleshoot PLCs and touchscreens. The role also includes advanced network troubleshooting, partnering with IT on server issues, creating training documentation, supporting process/automation improvements, and reinforcing food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely maintain and troubleshoot electrical and automation systems in the production facility while following safety rules and reinforcing safety as a core value.
•Ensure Food Safety & Quality policies, procedures, and activities are followed to reduce product and process variability.
•Interpret electrical schematics and user manuals, and troubleshoot process issues with automation software.
•Troubleshoot PLCs and touchscreens, using advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose control networking issues.
•Create user manuals and training documentation, identify process/automation improvements, and support maintenance technicians with leadership and technical support.

Salary: USD 36.73 - 41.6 hourly

Key Requirements

•Two-year certificate from a college or technical school (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience in mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatics (helpful).
•Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and technical procedures in English.
•Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation (required).
•Ability to use tools such as a multimeter and software to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical root causes.
