Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute expediting strategy for assigned projects and purchase orders based on the assigned expediting level
  • •Liaise with suppliers and other functions to facilitate status of project goods and materials
  • •Drive accurate, timely project status reporting, including weekly expediting reports and updates in the company system
  • •Review purchase order delivery requirements to ensure project requirements are met and optimize material deliveries to schedule needs
  • •Ensure supplier timely delivery and coordinate expediting issues across departments and teams; notify and collaborate with logistics on material movements within McDermott’s responsibility

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management (or relevant discipline) or HSD/GED/IGCSE with 3 years of relevant experience
  • •3-6 years of relevant experience
  • •Knowledge of the expediting process as related to procurement
  • •Experience expediting supplier documentation and materials (piping bulks, electrical bulks, instrumentation bulks, including regulators, gauges, and PSVs)
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and materials management systems for procurement/logistics
