Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess the current enterprise data platform across layers/components alongside the engineering team.
  • •Define and own target-state architecture, bridging existing implementation gaps and guiding next-stage transformation.
  • •Drive platform non-functional requirements (scalability, availability, performance, security, resilience) into design decisions.
  • •Design architectural roadmaps, integration patterns, data flow designs, and governance standards for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
  • •Provide hands-on architectural guidance through architecture and code reviews, mentoring, and active delivery engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in data engineering and/or data architecture, including 4–5 years in solution or platform architect roles.
  • •Ability to join mid-flight programs and rapidly understand existing implementations to make architectural decisions.
  • •Experience delivering architecture across complex, multi-layer enterprise data platforms.
  • •Strong knowledge of data modeling and governance, including lineage, CDC/SCD, audit and control frameworks; Unity Catalog and Azure Purview experience.
  • •Proven architectural leadership with clear communication to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
