Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect the platform: set warehouse/lakehouse direction and stand up the data lake and layered architecture that turns raw data into trustworthy, queryable data
  • •Build the pipelines: design and run batch and streaming pipelines for data movement (CDC, ELT, real-time)
  • •Model the data: define canonical datasets and models with correct grain, semantics, and contracts
  • •Own reliability and accuracy: ensure data quality, observability, integrity checks, and monitoring for financial data
  • •Build for a regulated environment: implement RBAC, masking, lineage, and auditability from day one to protect sensitive data

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years building production data systems with ownership of architecture and production readiness
  • •Expert SQL and strong Python
  • •Deep experience with a modern lakehouse/warehouse ecosystem (e.g., Snowflake + dbt + Fivetran or Databricks + Spark)
  • •Strong data modeling skills ( dimensional, normalized, or Data Vault)
  • •Experience with orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and large-scale processing (Spark)
